Excell'erator Challenge
Through the Agoria Excell'erator Challenge, we were given the opportunity to bridge the gap between education and industry.
A multidisciplinary student team from PTI Kortrijk was commissioned by BO‑Solutions to develop a real manufacturing challenge, with innovation, precision and teamwork as central pillars.
In 2024, we became the winners of the very first edition of the Challenge. For us, this is proof that co-creation with young talents not only accelerates ideas, but also sets concrete innovation in the manufacturing industry in motion.

The manufacturing industry emits a lot of greenhouse gases. At BO-Solutions, we take climate responsibility seriously. Our energy-efficient building and strict sustainability standards form the basis for future-oriented eco-factory and climate-friendly production.
We reduce energy consumption, reuse materials and work closely with customers and partners. Sustainable entrepreneurship is part of our business strategy: with precision, innovation and conscious entrepreneurship, we make our processes more energy-efficient, circular and future-proof.

Responsible commuting
At BO-Solutions, we encourage sustainable mobility as part of our green ambition. With our Lease-a-Bike program and bicycle allowance, we make it easy for employees to choose the bicycle and thus reduce CO₂ emissions.
Smappee charging stations are available for electric driving. In this way, we combine comfort with responsible commuting and actively contribute to a cleaner living environment and prevenetive healthcare for our people and our Roeselare region.

Energy: our basis for top quality.
Our new company building with production hall has 880 solar panels and is almost completely self-sufficient in energy. Waste heat from machines heats the shop floor – smartly and efficiently. Adiabatic cooling refreshes the air up to three times an hour for the health of our people and keeps everything stable. Every kilowatt counts, every degree is under control.
Energy-independent production means offering certainty to our customers.
Materials: quality first, circular where it counts.
Metal retains its strength even after recycling – that's why we make sure nothing goes to waste.
Avoid, reuse, recycle: that is the starting point of the OVAM guidelines on which our materials policy is based.
We manage our stocks smartly, reuse what is possible and have all metal waste 100% recycled through approved processors.
Our focus: maximum circularity where it really has an impact.
Reality: quality first, sustainability where possible. Technical excellence and 100% sustainability do not always go hand in hand. When precision requires specific materials, we resolutely opt for quality – but always with an eye for the greenest solution. Pragmatic, honest and quality-oriented.

From 2026: sustainability underpinned, for our customers
From 2026 onwards, we will not only make our sustainability approach structurally measurable, but also visible, as extra support for customers who have to report themselves. For this, we will use Kube as a registration tool for our ESG data.
Our production environment is already highly energy-driven, with 880 solar panels and a quasi-zero-emission facility.
By systematically underpinning our impact, we provide clients with clear and consistent information that supports their compliance and audit processes.
Environmental impact, social responsibility and governance are demonstrable, aligned with regulations such as EUDR and AEO, and practically applicable within the chain.
